In reply to jimbo. The holes are drilled vertically into the fenders, and the shaft of each mirror should be straight up/down once mounted. Therefore, the base of each mirror is curved to allow for this, so each mirror will only work on one side.

In reply to jimbo. The two wing mirrors are different. The curvature of the mirror base where the pins are forces them to go in at a certain angle. If you try to use the wrong mirror on the wrong side, it will not sit flush to the body.

Hi. I’m convinced your photo of the 2 wing mirrors here in build 77 is wrong!–they are the opposite as stated here!
I have a good few of the mirrors shown here on the right,they are easier to find and are from an early issue.
–The left side side mirror is from a much later issue number and is therefore more difficult ( and expensive) to find!

Great site, thank you for all the work you have put into it. I am putting together a remote control that will allow me to control the electronic features of the DB-5 from outside of the display case and I was wondering if you knew of a source for a schematic of the main PCB (part 80A) ?

Do not go near ebay….I browsed them looking for parts
My nephew damaged my assembled car…started playing like it was a toy and broke the rear axle linkage struts I…..browsed ebay for the magazine with the appropriate
parts….and the cheapest that was on offer was £59

Stupidly I let my nephew handle my assembled model….and kids like they are…started playing with it on the floor….and somehow he broke the support struts and linkages on the rear axle assembly..he also damaged the connecting cables to pedal..is there somewhere I can buy the parts without the magazine as I’ve still got my original

In reply to Stefan. Thank you for the kind words! If Agora does release this DB5 under their 007 collection, I sure hope they redo the instructions! As for the Ecto-1, I will definitely be finishing it when available.
