Build

Right Air Vent

Step 1

Clip the Right Air Vent Cover to the back of the Right Air Vent Unit.

Retrieve the Right Air Vent Switch from Pack 24 and place it inside the slot first:

The final assembly should look like this:

Step 3 (yes, they skipped Step 2)

Retrieve the Dashboard Mount from the last pack and attach this assembly to the side with one (1) Type U screw.

Also, note the two pre-wired LEDs that will backlight the gauge panel:

The Lighter

Fit the Lighter into this position on the Dashboard. This is a small delicate piece, take extra care.

Retrieve the Dashboard from Pack 24 and take note of this D-shaped hole:

The Lighter has the same D-Shaped post on it:

Simply press the Lighter into place. No glue is required:

Control Front Plate, Light Switch, Dials

Step 1

Clip the Light Switch through the back of the Control Front Plate. It will remain loose until it fitted to the clear control plate later on.

I want to take a moment to show the construction of this Control Front Plate. It is plastic, but the details are painted silver:

The rear has a clear sheet of plastic to simulate the gauge glass:

Ok, back to work. Take the Light Switch:

Pass through this hole of the Control Front Plate. It will be loose until we attach this plate later:

Step 2

Clip in the three Dials to the the Control Front Plate. In the next issue, this part will be connected to the rest of the dashboard:

These simply press into the matching holes:

Thoughts

Hey, we got to build some stuff in this pack! And, the dashboard doesn’t look so bad. I just wish the instructions weren’t so disjointed. Anyway, it looks like most of the parts in this Issue 07 will come together in the next few packs.
